VINEXPO reveals its new world study on the future of wine and spirits distribution led in collaboration with WINE INTELLIGENCE.

The Vinexpo stands will be substantially populated by cognacs, vodkas, rums, whiskies, gins and armagnacs, but this range of spirits will be enriched by sake, cachaça, grappa and tequila exhibitors, who will contribute to the breadth of offerings on display.

The major countries that already registered except France are China followed by the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Japan.

The world’s leading wine producer in 2011, France, turning out every year 523 million 12-bottle or 9-litre cases, will occupy 65% of Vinexpo’s total stand area to display the wines of its 17 wine-making areas from Provence to the Loire, including Bordeaux, Champagne and Burgundy.

The increasing numbers of Chinese visitors to Vinexpo reflect the growing popularity of wine and spirits in China and their hearty consumption, both of which demonstrate the attention which the Chinese pay to the industry.
